The Masked Ball-Red Door Runners Indoor 5K

Net proceeds from The Masked Ball and the Masked Ball-Red Door Runners Indoor 5K event benefit Gilda’s Club Chicago, the City’s only free support community for men, women and children, families and friends touched by cancer.

The Red Door Runners, a committee of the Gilda's Club Chicago Associate Board, raised $19,800 during their first 5K race, the Bucktown 5K, in October 2006. The Red Door Runners have a goal of raising $25,000 for Gilda's Club Chicago in 2007!
Gilda's Club Chicago is dedicated to providing a meeting place where people with cancer, and families and friends, join with others to build social and emotional support as a supplement to medical care. Gilda's Club Chicago’s program is provided free of charge and includes support and networking groups, lectures, workshops, and social events, all which take place in a warm and welcoming setting. The goal of Gilda's Club Chicago is to help people with cancer learn to live full and productive lives.
