I forwarded this last year and some folks asked to let them know when it was time to donate again. I know times are hard and this is last minute notice, but we still don't find it's importance any less.

This year the event is being held in September, which is Children's Cancer Awareness Month, and is earlier than when the event is usually held in November.

I can't express how much this organizatio meant to Blake's family during his illness and continues to offer support to them.

There have been many of us who have had family or friends children affected by this disease. It's hard breaking to see a child have to suffer through pain and realize they may never see Graduation day, their first date, or some their first step. It has no boundaries and could happen to any of our children or grandchildren.

Take a moment, even if you are unable to donate, and log onto the BTFC's site and see their stories and faces. It speaks for itself.
