Rosie is a 6 yr old female who upon coming into rescue was found to be heart worm positive. While undergoing costly treatment for this she went into heat. We could not spay at this moment because of heart worm treatment and would have to wait a couple of months before doing so. While awaiting the spay date Rosie developed pyrometra and was rushed into surgery. Her medical costs have been extensive and she went through her surgery with flying colors. She is now in her new home at a Senior Retirement Center were she has over 75 owners. Her foster mom said she was definately a people dog and is in the right place for her happy personality. Can you please help with Rosie's care? Rosie like others in rescue want a second chance at life and we are glad to be able to help them do this.
