This is Ruth's and my 3rd year participating in the trek and this year we are super excited to have my nephew Jonathan and (maybe) his wife Bethany joining us.  Jonathan is my brother's son and one of the fortunate ones in our family.  He, like his father, is an MM.  Nevertheless he knows me well and is well educated about the trials and tribulations of being an Alpha.  He has recently been biking for fun and exercise near his home in Ayer MA and said he would love to try out the trek and support the Alpha-1 Foundation at the same time.  Ruth and I are both riding this year.  I'll do my usual "as many miles as I can"; Ruth will do more, and Jonathan will probably cruise the entire 160 mi over the course of the 3 days....especially if Bethany is there supporting him as a volunteer.

Any donation, any amount will be greatly appreciated.  It goes 100% to research to find a cure for Alpha-1.  I have been active in the Foundation for almost 10 years and I believe we are getting closer and closer to finding a cure....and most importantly we are taking the right steps to make it happen.
