Hey Bad Weather Biker Members,

A challenge has been issued by every other MC Club and Organization out there and we need to show them what we are all about.  As part of the Honor Run 2009, which the Bad Weather Bikers are fully supporting, we have been called out to participate in the "Honor Challenge"

The Mission is simple.  We need to raise more money than any other Club or MC group in the country in support of all those who have died or been disabled defending our freedom and protecting our families from those who seek to bring terrorism upon us.  For full details on the Honor Run see www.thehonorrun.org or email theunit@cox.net

Every dollar we raise goes into the mission of building a Fisher House on Camp Pendleton CA to provide free housing for the families of members of all branches who will be receiving treatment at the new 200 bed wounded warrior center and who are currently receiving treatment at Balboa Naval Hospital.  We will also be helping to provide scholarships for the children of those who did not make it back and those that are 100% disabled.

If that is not reason enough listen to this!!! The winning chapter in the Challenge will receive National recognition for their effort, get the VIP treatment at all Honor Run Functions, have their colors flown on the National Chase Vehicle that will cross the country, receive a trophy of thanks from the Honor Run, receive three plaques one for the club, one to be placed at the Harley Davidson Museum, and one to be placed in the newly constructed Fisher House to show the families of our wounded heroes how much you care. 

But it gets better!!!! If our club comes in first, and raises a minimum of 10,000 through this page FOUR MEMBERS OF OUR CHAPTER WILL GET AN ALL EXPENSE PAID TRIP TO THE HARLEY DAVIDSON MUSEUM INCLUDING HOTELS AND A FUEL STIPEND.

So let's get busy and really kick it up for those who gave it up defending our freedom.
