Jumping into a freezing lake at Versailles State Park isn't for everyone but the 2010 Versailles Polar Plunge is!

So, you've thought about it and thought about it.  And just can not grin and bear it, to bring yourself to "freeze your fur off" for a great cause.  Well, don't get your feathers in a ruffle.  We have just the answer to your need to keep warm and also have that warm, fuzzy feeling in your heart.  You can donate to our "Too Chicken to Plunge" at Versailles State Park fund and still support this wacky event that benefits Special Olympics Indiana athletes in your community, giving them the means to train locally and to compete at the state level in a number of Olympic-type sports.

We hope to see you at the "Plunge Zone" at Versailles State Park on February 13th to watch those who have decided to grin and bear it and to "freeze their fur off" for a great cause and join us after the Plunge at South Ripley Elementary for our "After Splash Bash" for a hot meal, door prizes, a silent auction, and Plunge awards!
