It is 2009 and I am back asking for your support for a worthwhile endeavor that is also personal, the Annual Run for Autism.
This is the 34th Marine Corps Marathon scheduled for October 25th, 2009. Just like last year, I will be running the SHORTER DISTANCE (10K) event with the intent of raising awareness of Autism and funds for the Organization for Autism Research (OAR).
Each year has been better than the previous year, I am praying this trend continues. This year my goal is to raise $5,000 with all the proceeds going to OAR. OAR is a national non-profit organization that funds research and resources for individuals diagnosed with autism and their families. Sponsoring online is the most efficient way for me to raise funds for OAR. Your donations are tax-deductible and you will get an automated confirmation note for tax purposes. Any and all amounts are appreciated, but of course the more the better.
