This will be my 2nd year riding with the Western New York Team. Our team is made up of members of the Amherst Police Department and the New York State Police. On May 9^th, 2010, we will be joining Chapter I in East Hanover, New Jersey to begin our 4 day journey. We will travel approximately 320 miles making stops in Edison, NJ, Wilmington, DE, Annapolis, MD and then continue on to the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, D.C.

The primary purpose of the Police Unity Tour is to bring about public awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty. The secondary purpose is to raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial and Museum. For those of you who donated in the past, I would like to thank you and also ask that you continue to show your support.
