Hello Everyone and thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

So deciding to do a half marathon wasn't exactly by choice and I was heavily influence (forced!) by a couple of co-workers that this would be a good idea so I eventually bought into the idea. I have been conditioning and training in hopes to complete this goal I set for myself. Yes, 13.1 miles!

A good friend of mine suggested that if I was going to put myself through this I might as well run for a cause. I chose the American Diabetes Association in memory of Lotte Allen, my granmother who passed away from complication of diabetes in 1999 and my granfather, Robert Allen, who also passed from complications of diabetes in 2006. My father was also recently diagnosed with diabetes, so donating to this cause that has affected my family in so many ways gives me motivation to push through. 

If you can find it in your heart to give, no matter how big or small, it will be greatly appreciated by myself and my family.
