Hunger pain happens to people and animals who are starving for food due to poverty, homeless.

Many animals are abandoned, because their owners can not afford to feed their pets.  Their owners lost jobs,  homes  in foreclosures, and evictions.

Pet food donation helps families in the community stay together with their companion animals during these hard economic times.

A segment of new homeless people who have minimum wage jobs. They can't afford to have a home, because minimum wage isn't a living wage. These homeless people who either have lost their jobs, or have minimum wage jobs. They cannot pay for a place to live, so they live in their vehicles with their children and pets. They are working homeless people with pets.

Feral cats result from the offspring of cats that were once owned and then abandoned. As a result, the kittens are not properly socialized to humans and become feral.  Feral cats need food to survive.

Twenty-five hundred feral cats need cat food (through feral cat feeders)
Four-hundred-fifty rescue dogs need dog food (through small shelters and individuals)
