Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page.
We need to raise $728 to secure a place for JULIE - a 5-month old black lab/pit mix with no chance of adoption from the shelter.
Time is the essence for "Julie" - a BLACK lab/pit mix who carries a Black Dog Syndrome.
(from Kevin @ Pasadena Humane Society):
“Julie” (A255057) has been at the Pasadena Humane Society (Pasadena, Southern California) for almost a month now, and we’re starting to get worried about this girl! She came in with another dog as a stray on July 22nd, and her buddy has since been adopted. She is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccines, and ready to go home today! ..............We will be discussing Julie’s progress and prospect on Friday, August 21st. We would love to have a rescue commitment or adoption to report by then!
*********
Dawn at Basset Rescue Network will bail Julie out on Saturday 8/22/2009 & confirmed by Kevin at Pasadena Humane Society as a "locked in" (aka Julie is SAFE)
This is how we will save Julie and find her a home.
*********
"Julie" can stay/park at BREED rescue shelter for 6-7 months, till I (Ha Adolfo from www.rescuershelper.com) get one of my foster dogs adopted out and take her to my place to show her.
Typically it takes that long to find a good home for a black dog - especially a lab/pit mix , "full of energy" 5-month old pup, no house-trained, no basic obedience.
I did that once with another dog Jasmine (a BLACK Sharpei/pit mix) with the same BREED rescue/Basset Rescue Network (no-kill shelter) and Jasmine was adopted last month. Jasmine was RED LIST at the high kill South Los Angeles City Shelter in Jan 09, bailed out in 3/09, "parked" at Basset Rescue Network for months playing/living with 100 bassets, fostered & trained by me since May, adopted in July to a wonderful family with 2 kids.
We can do the same thing for Julia WITH YOUR FUNDING!
Folks; please help me and Basset Rescue Network to save JULIE at Pasadena Humane Society. We need to raise $728 .
It's realy take an army of people to save a black dog (Black Dog Syndrome) with unpopular breed of lab/pit mix like "Julie".
Please forward this link to your friends, co-workers, neighbors, relatives, and associates as appropriate.
