Hafoc's Biking for Health Justice Team TRI 4 NoHLA
Update!
It has been a fight but YES I get to do the Bike leg :-) -- for awhile it looked like I was going to have to dogpaddle the swim leg.
> My Bike2Work route is now Dexter Ave N AND 15th Ave NE (and they say old ladies can't do hills). Next year's goal is Denny way to Capital Hill!
> My thighs no longer hit my stomach as I pedal.
Biking in Seattle is safe and a great way to lose fat. Biking for NoHLA was the only way to get me started and keeping me inspired throughout the year.
51 and doing another Triathlon!
This year I really want to hit $500+! Help me, Please! or I'll have to get creative... ;-)
* You can donate $1 for every inch of fat I lose
* You can donate $1 for every time I bike to work between the date of the donation and Sept 12.
*If you donate $250 I'll shave my head
*If you donate $500 I'll NOT cut my hair for 3 months :-)
*Don't worry, for the second $500 I'll come up with something creative... Wear a Utilikilt for 3 months?
This has been an amazing year for NoHLA. Now with Health Reform WE NEED NoHLA more than ever to protect our access to WA critical safety net of health programs from being cut and to advocate on our behalf as the national health reform is implemented in Washington State.
I'll do the work, I just need your support! :-)
