Please support my efforts to help find a cure for VHL.  This disease took my father (Martin Pinto) and my Uncle (Michael Pinto) in 2004.  My sister and I currently continue our fight against this disease. 

Now, there is a new urgency to find a cure as I have an AMAZING daughter.  Layla had a 50% chance of inheriting VHL, we're going through the genetic counseling and testing process now, and every fiber of my being prays that she does not have VHL!  However, she has helped renew my dedication to finding a cure!

12/27/2011 Update - our prayers were answered, after genetic testing today we received the wonderful news that Layla has tested negative for VHL!  What an amazing gift!
