Tour for Tibetans
It was a chance meeting over four years ago that sparked a deep fire within my soul to help. I met Deanna Campbell the Executive Director for Antahkarana International and soon saw that she had a vision and a belief that through hard work and determination you can change lives, including your own.
I had visions of what I could do to help save a culture that is truelly beautiful and structured around beliefs, humanity, and helping others. I by nature am an artist so dreams of taking photographs and writing were my foremost goals. Then this year I became the owner of a BMW F650GS motorcycle and my eyes were opened to the possibility of touring through-out the backroads, small towns, and all of rural America, talking to people, hearing their own stories, photographing my journey's and helping people from all over America see through the eyes of others, their culture and traditions.
In every town I encounter I am going to have meetings to discuss what the Antahkarana International has done and is doing for native Tibetans, talk about their culture, their plight, and show the Antahkarana movie Hope in the Wind. I am also going to bring back what I find along my travels to my gallery in Bozeman Montana and have openings with stories and photogaphy to bring rural America just that much closer. You can follow my journey through this web page and donate as little or as much as you like, get creative with how you would like to donate by donating a dollar for every mile I do etc... I am always up for challenges! Or just stop by ans say hi and give feedback or suggestions on where you would like me to visit, maybe it's your small town.
This venture would not be possible without the support I have received from my family and my sponsors. Touratech, an adventure motorcycle company, has been generous in giving me a discount on all parts for my bike, Adventure Workshop has given me free shipping on gear, Mammut has given discounts on gear,Helly Hansen of Bozeman Montana has donated base layer clothing for those chilly mornings and evenings, and I am still searching for other generous companies as this site progresses.
Thank you for visiting my webpage, stop by again and have many safe journeys!
Best wishes,
Hallie Zolynski
