We have a problem in the American church. One out of eight pastors think about resigning with no place to go. Seventy per cent of pastors battle depression constantly and say they have no one they consider a close friend. Four out of five pastors feel the ministry negatively affects their family. These statistics do not bode well for the American church.   One out of twenty career missionaries leave the field each year.  Nearly half of all career missionaries leave their work within the first five years.

Will our ministry to pastors and missionaries change these statistics? No. But we believe we can make a difference in the lives of pastors and missionaries one couple at a time--to help them go for the long run and not give up. 

So, this is what Life Impact Ministries is about. Our mission is to provide pastoral care to missionaries and pastoral couples in and through hosted facilities by trained staff.  Anyone who leaves the ministry prematurely is a tremendous loss of experience and money for Kingdom expansion. Our goal is to stem that tide.

Life Impact's ministry started in 2003 with one oasis in Sunriver, Oregon. Now we have facilities in four American locations, and one international. We also have many partners offering vacation homes for missionary R&R.
