Welcome to Isaac Hannon's fundraising page.
It is hard to believe that Isaac was diagnosed with autism just 3 years ago. This year he is a first grader at Woolridge Elementary in Chesterfield, and just like Craig- Isaac is a whiz at math. He plays soccer with his friends at recess and recently joined Cub Scouts. In fact he and Craig won an award at the Pinewood Derby race (funny story). Science is his favorite subject. At home Isaac still enjoys building castles and his room is like one giant Lego obstacle course. Star Wars is an obsession, he even grew his hair to look like Anakin. Isaac is the absolute most amazing and patient big brother to Elliott. It makes us very proud to see him reading tenderly to his baby brother at night.
Isaac has come so far in such a short amount of time, and one of the main reasons is because of the outstanding teachers, doctors, and therapists in his life. Isaac has had the benefit of a truly dedicated, knowledgeable, and passionate team of individuals. We thank our lucky stars for Pat Kretzer, Jackie Scates, Pam Knight, Ms. Rachel Ernest, Dr. Peter Blakey, Dr. Linda Woolridge, and for our good friends and family that have always believed in Isaac and believed in our abilitiy to be good parents to Isaac and do right by him. These individuals and the resources they provide are what give us hope!
That is why we are asking you to please help support the central virginia chapter of the Autism Society of America, so that other parents and children impacted by this disorder can have hope too! And if you feel like putting on your running/walking shoes you can go a step further and JOIN TEAM ISAAC!
We have a big goal this year, but I know we can do it. We raised over $600.00 last year, let's break that record!!!!! Remember....any little bit helps, no amount is too small. Thank you in advance to everyone for your continous support and generosity. Isaac couldn't do it without you, and We couldn't do it without you!
