Bridget's sister Heather has created this page to find sponsors for Frankie, a Peach Face Lovebird who has a forever home at The Gabriel Foundation in Colorado.  Frankie is a one-legged lovebird who was abandoned in Marble, CO as a chick, along with 27 other birds, dogs and cats over 10 years ago. He and his best buddy, Triscuit, have a forever home in The Gabriel Foundation’s sanctuary. Both are flighted and are devoted friends.

It costs $18 per month to sponsor Frankie, to ensure that he is well cared for and that his quality of life is the best it can be. Heather has started him off at 3 months, and her goal is to get some help to match that donation, for a grand total of six months of care.  Would you like to help?  At only $18 a month, any amount is helpful- even just $1!

Sponsoring Frankie is Heather's way of promoting the excellent love and care that Bridget provides her own lovebird, Martini.  It is absolutely astounding the way that Bridget can read Martini's moods and behavior, sometimes catching an illness earlier than a vet would have, and adapting her own lifestyle to suit Martini's needs better.  Heather could think of nothing more appropriate as a gift to her big sister than acknowledging that sixth sense in a way, and supporting a lovebird with needs similar to Martini's.   If you would like to donate to Frankie's well-being, or support Bridget's incredible bond with Martini, please donate a dollar or two to help cover Frankie's monthly bills.   If not, passing on the word about The Gabriel Foundation would be appreciated- getting the word out is the best way to ensure that wonderful organizations like TGF continue to get the funding and support they need to keep doing this incredible work.
