Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
Dingo and I will be walking in the AIDS walk again this year and just can't wait. The AIDS walk is a great event that raises funds to help educate people in Northeast Indiana, prevent the transmission of HIV / AIDS, and serve those living with HIV / AIDS in our community.
The AIDS walk is one of the ways I am committed to loving the people in our community who hurt and need love & support. Please consider being a part of that by making a pledge to our walk, cheering us on, or walking alongside us. Last year Dingo and I raised over $900. Our goal is to beat that this year. In order to make this a reality, I am pledging to match the largest gift up to $500. So come on - make me shell out some cash!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. If you'd like to donate online, simply click the 'sponsor us now' button. I will also take donations in person until May 2.
Thank you so much for your support - and don't forget, I'll match the largest gift up to $500! Come on, I know there's somebody out there who wants to see me part with that!
*UPDATE*
We've got our first donors! So far I've received a total of $90 from the following:
* Grandma & Grandpa Mills ~ $10
* Mom & Dad (Gene & Karen Quinn) ~$20
* Marsha & Dale Johnson ~ $5
* Michael Floyd ~ $20
* Michelle Quinn ~ $35
And.... mom says she might walk with Dingo and I! Even more wonderful news!
Thank you so much to all who have contributed to my campaign so far. Obviously, I've still got a long way to go, but we're working hard!
*** Another UPDATE ***
Thanks to the following new donors:
*Ann Donelson (my mom-in-law!) ~ $100
*Tammy Kelly ~ $20
*James Lake & Erin ~ $2
*Mandy Waters ~$15
*Jason Lake ~ $1,000
And, as promised, I will match $500 of that highest gift.
We've met our goal, but the AIDS Task Force can always use more! The walk is coming up quickly, but I'll be taking pledges through the week. On Saturday, come out to see the Faces of AIDS display and wish Dingo & me luck!
