As many of you know our son Jake was diagnosed with PDD(NOS) for him a higher functioning form of autism and Ben was diagnosed about a year later with autistic disorder. Ben is quite challenged and attends a private school in Natick.  Autism doesn't seem to get any easier as our years of experience increase just different.  Triumphs come with subtle moments of connection and saddness comes when life seems overwhelming.

We are walking in the 10th annual walk for Autism Awareness to raise funds for the Autism Resource Center of Central MA. The center is close to my heart and my family.  They provide support and educational programs for us and offer our family things to do where it doesn't matter if things don't quite work out.  The money raised here goes directly to fund these programs.
