Update: Thank you all for your donations and for cheering Hayden on and supporting him always. We couldn't be as strong, if it weren't for our family and friends!
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
We are going to be walking this Saturday to raise money for the Autism Society of Nebraska. We invite you to join us in the fight against autism.
As most of you know, our son, our SUPERMAN as we call him, has forever changed our lives. He is amazing and lives with an autism spectrum disorder - PDD-NOS. Things do not come easy for him, but he tries so hard and we fight for him every day. We also have an amazing therapist for Hayden and a super teacher that keep him improving all the time.
I said he changed our lives and by that I mean, when our son first told us he loved us, it was something we didn't and will never take for granted. You see, there was a point in our lives that we never thought he'd say this and some told us he may never speak. He does speak and it gets better all the time. We CAN win the fight against autism and we will never stop trying!!
I invite you to walk with us if you can, but if you cannot make it, consider being a virtual walker. You may also donate through this page.
I know the economy is tough and many of you supported me as I chose to jump into Lake Zorinsky for Special Olympics. Your support is much appreciated and truly does help individuals with needs get the help they need. From a dollar to $50, it's all helpful and appreciated. I wouldn't support these events if my heart wasn't totally in it and I didn't think it could make a difference. BUT, it is making a difference, and I just cannot stop trying.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
