WOW - thank you all for such amazing support.  It's an amazing reason for my freezin!!!

Last year I decided that I would join the fun and do the Polar Plunge to raise money for Special Olympics. Never did I imagine that I'd get quite the support I did and feel so amazing after doing it.  

It felt amazing because I knew such a small thing that I did was helping so many individuals that struggle at times and need this extra support to enrich their lives!  And, I had my superman at my side and was dressed in my superman t-shirt and swim bottoms..and then plunged in.  It sounds crazy in the frigid weather, but yes, it warms the heart.

Special Olympics provides a much-appreciated program for people with special needs who otherwise would not have an organized way to participate in such amazing sporting activities.  Our son turns seven in about six months, and he will be able to officially participate in this fantastic program and we look forward to the opportunities and smiles it will bring him and all those who love him. We will be cheering him on all the way.

So it's with this, that I'm asking for your help to raise money for such a great cause and if you are really feeling crazy, join me in the jump....you'll never regret you did!  We are calling our team, "Team Superman."

Yep, The Polar Plunge is a fun and crazy event that plays a huge role in raising to help further the mission of the organization and support the amazing athletes that make up Special Olympics Nebraska.

Donating through this site is not only simple and secure, but it is a fast and efficient way to support over 4,000 children and adults who participate in the sports, leadership and training programs offered by Special Olympics Nebraska.
