Thank you for visiting my “Tangothon II” fundraising page! Yes, I know I am crazy but I’ve decided to participate in The Shimmy Club, Inc.’s first annual all night dance marathon (into the wee hours of the morning!) to support the arts and enrich the lives of kids and adults with disabilities...because the arts belong to everyone!

One of The Shimmy Club's innovative programs teaches the art of Argentine tango to blind and visually impaired youth and adults! Through their free classes, events and socials, the organization provides arts and culture education, physical fitness, outreach, entertainment, increased social development and awareness and a growing social community for these underserved populations.

So...I am going to dance tango too, in a marathon to support this cause because I believe in programs that encourage active participation in the arts, advocacy and inclusion!  And I know how meaningful the Shimmy Club's  "You Touch Me Tango" program is to these kids and adults.
