Our Mission: To conquer leukemia, lymphoma, and myelodysplastic syndromes by funding research into their causes and cures, and to enrich the quality of life of those touched by these diseases. The Leukemia Research Foundation was born out of determination to find a cure for these devastating blood cancers. Contributions from individuals, corporations, foundations and other philanthropic organizations, as well as fundraising events, are a vital part of our fight against these diseases that strike some 140,000 Americans annually. The fact remains -- leukemia is the number one cause of death by disease in children, and, leukemia is diagnosed 10 times more often in adults than in children.
