I was born a bilateral above the knee amputee caused by amniotic band syndrome.  I started going to RHCI for PT when I was 3 1/2.  At that time I was scared just to walk down the hall on my own.  Now I run through the halls thanks to all the people that worked with me and encouraged me along the way.  At RHCI it's not just the therapists who are involved with you.  I got to know the receptionist, the security guard, the man who cleans the floors, and many other staff members.  With the help of Dr. Bob I have legs that work for ME!  Last year, for my birthday, he surprised me with new running legs...how many doctors do you know that would do THAT!?  I don't know what I would do without Dr. Bob and RHCI.  Please help me give back to people who gave me so much.  And please come join me on my walk...we'd love to have you!
