Holly Taggart's Fundraising Page
Hi All!!!! I remain injury free, and thus have no excuse not to run!!!
My Big Event for the year is the Mountain Home Marathon for Kenya in Mountain Home Arkansas! I chose this Marathon because it supports World Vision Orphanages in Kenya. When it came around to fundraising, I wanted to do something a bit more personal to me. I have been on 2 missions with MSF, and know the quality of care they strive to provide. I thought why not fund raise for them? It feels a bit different to be on the "other side" but this side is no less important, as I was ever grateful for the donations that allowed me to serve in Africa.
I've set a lofty goal both in running and fund raising! I need your help! I'll provide the sweat (hopefully not too many tears!) if you'll provide a small donation. This race, like all Marathons is 26.2 miles. May I be so bold as to suggest a dollar per mile? You can link here for 26.2 reasons!

Through the year, I'll provide updates on my training, especially as the 18 weeks of intensive training starts in July.
I've been in Florida at the National Training Center since April. Things are shaping up quite well. I'm on track for the New Mexico Half Marathon and the Full Marathon in November!
Please check back frequently here for updates.
And thank you. You support is inspiring to me! Together we can be part of the Solution!
Update!! We now have enough for two medical kits! Please let others know of my goal!!!!
