And the Lucky Winner is:
Thank you so much for all your support! I can't thank you enough.
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
I will be running in the Denver Rock 'n' Roll 1/2 Marathon on October 20th to raise money for Jazz Aspen Snowmass' music education programs. Okay, let's not kid ourselves, it will be less of a run and more of a slow jog and I will be happy if I complete the race. I am sure you all know that I am not a runner but I will try for the kiddos.
So here is the best part...You might win a trip to the Caribbean if you donate! The top 3 fundraisers win a 7 night luxury stay in the Caribbean, courtesy of Elite Island Resorts. If I am one of those top 3 people ANYONE that donates at least $10 to the cause will be entered in a random drawing to win that trip. The winner of the drawing can go on the vacation themselves, give it to someone as a gift or give it to the charity of their choice to auction. It is up to the winner.
I would really love your support through a tax-deductible donation or if you would like to participate in the race and jog with me that would be great too because I would love ot have a jogging partner. The music education programs in the Roaring Fork Valley are in desperate need of our help. On average their annual budget is $1,600, which equates to a mere $1.39 per student. That doesn't even buy two used trumpets let alone instruments and instructions for classes that have up to 114 students per class. You would be helping the 1,000+ music students in the valley.
Since my instrument of choice in band class growing up was Trombone and some of the schools currently need them, my fundraising goal is $2,100. That is the cost of a new trombone with F Attachment.
All donations are secure and sent directly to Jazz Aspen Snowmass by FirstGiving, who will email you a printable record of your donation.
Thanks for your consideration and please share my page with any of your friends and family that may be inspired to donate as well and possible win a trip. A $10 donation goes a long way!
