Hope for the Hairy Critters
Dear family, friends, casual acquaintances and random strangers:
Just above and to your left is a photo of Destiny and me. It was taken on Destiny's last day at the shelter, right before her new family came to collect her. Destiny lived at the shelter for more than a year before finding her forever-home. Despite her angelic face, she was not what you'd call the easiest cat to place. This feisty, loving, soulful, tempermental girl needed a true cat-lover who'd let Destiny be Destiny. Thanks to the dedicated shelter staff, she finally found just that. Not only do Destiny's new humans accept that she marches to her own drummer, they adore this unique creature, who adores them right back.
Destiny is one of countless success stories I've seen as a Conway Area Humane Society employee and volunteer. While asking for money generally isn't my thing, I'll gladly do it for this organization, because I know -- firsthand -- what phenomenal work it does.
Please join me in helping the animals by sponsoring me in the Conway Area Humane Society's 2007 Walk for the Animals. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. If you would prefer to donate by check please make it payable to CAHS and mail it to: CAHS, P.O. Box 260, Conway, NH 03818 Attn: Hope
Many thanks for your support!!!
