On June 29,2010 our world came to a halt.  Our mother Cindi Fonte was diagnosed with Stage Four Pancreatic Cancer.  The news that followed her diagnosis was horrifying; one out of every five people would survive past a year with this disease.  Although she fought with everything she had, she sadly lost her battle on September 24, 2010. 

Throughout her struggle with the disease, she asked that as a family and community we continue to fight to find a cure and help other patients who are effected by the monster of Pancreatic Cancer. 

Honoring our mother's request, we will be holding a co-ed softball tournament which she appropriately named:

"Swinging for a Cure"
Saturday August 20,2011 
Fellows Road Park in Fairport, NY
