Hope For Autism

“Your child has autism, Mr. and Mrs. Schuurman”.  My heart sank.  My fear of what was wrong with our son was standing right in front me.  I was angry. I felt forsaken. I felt lost. Why, why did this happen. I did everything right, I did everything I was told to do. July 16, 2009 changed our lives forever. Landon is a beautiful boy who has Autism, Autism doesn’t have him! We will fight each and every day the hard battle of dealing with an Autism Spectrum Disorder, the battle may be long and hard, but I am in it for the long haul. Running this race for me symbolizes the hard work and dedication it takes to raise a son with such a complex disability. 1 in 88 kids and 1 in 54 boys will be diagnosed with Autism. Join me to help make sense of such a confusing disorder. Your donation, big or small, will make a huge impact in the lives of those struggling with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.

For His Glory,

Danielle & Family
