Go Special Olympics Team North Carolina !

I am very excited and honored to have been selected to compete in aquatics at the first-ever Special Olympics National Games at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa . This will be my first out-of-state competition and I’m very excited to be competing at the national level. I will be among 3,500 athletes from all 50 states and the District of Columbia who will showcase their athletic talent this summer, July 2-7.  My parents, Ven and Carmen, will be there to see me compete.  My Auntie Lorna and grandma from New Jersey will also be there.

Special Olympics athletes are never required to pay a fee to participate but it will cost approximately $2,000 to send me to Iowa .  I am asking for your support in helping to see my dreams come true.  Your donation to Special Olympics North Carolina will provide for vital items such as travel, uniforms and equipment.  Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts.
