Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page. During the first week in June, 2012, I will be proudly participating in The Run for the athletes of Special Olympics Virginia. The Law Enforcement Torch Run is a year round global movement to raise awareness and funds for the athletes of Special Olympics, and The Run is the premiere event of the entire Torch Run year. Starting on June 2, law enforcement agencies from around Virginia will begin running with torches across the commonwealth. Over the next week, the torches will cover nearly 2,000 miles. Together we will escort the Flame of Hope all the way to the Robins Center at the University of Richmond, where we will light the Special Olympics cauldron to mark the official opening of the 2012 Summer Games.
