Thank you for visiting my Chase Crew (rowing) fundraising page.  On the June 6th I shall be taking part in a 1000 miles in 24 hrs motorcycle rally.   I hope you will be willing to sponsor me on this unusual event and support the Chase Crew efforts to raise funds towards obtaining a modern coxed four boat for their rowing programme.  I will be paying all my own expenses (petrol and energy bars!) so everything donated will go to Chase Crew.
 

The Crew team at Chase Collegiate School in Waterbury, Connecticut is a new athletics programme and includes Julian (my son).  This is their first season of racing.  It has been great to see this small group of athletes come together, train hard (almost every day) and in all weathers, work out every day at home and compete in challenging circumstances, with old donated equipment.  They have consistently improved their times over the season and have learnt what it means to work as a team towards a common goal.  A new boat is their dream!

In your mind (but not in mine!) this adventure might be considered a crazy and foollhardy way of spending 24 hrs.  However, my efforts along with your support may be one way of helping the team to achieve their dream.  Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also a very efficient way to support this fundraising effort and works globally!
