Help More Patients Benefit from Image-Guided Surgery

Image-guided surgery represents the next generation of health care. It is less invasive and results in less pain and a quicker recovery. You can help more people benefit from this exciting innovation through education tools for doctors, parents, and students.

Your support can help bring the next generation of surgical technology to doctors, students, and families today. While image-guided surgery is less invasive, causes less pain, and leads to quicker recovery, image-navigation systems in operating rooms are very experience – which limits the ability to teach doctors and patients about these procedures.

By developing webinars, tutorials, toolkits, and anatomical models, we can unleash the power of image-guided surgery for children and families. More students and doctors can learn how to use these exciting procedures, and parents can be more comfortable about their child’s surgery.

This state-of-the-art instruction will many more people learn about image-guided surgery and bring this innovation to more patients around the world. Learn more about this project.

If it is not possible to reassign resources to a similar initiative, Children’s National will determine the most appropriate manner to use the funds raised.
