Thanks so much in advance for considering sponsoring me for the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center's (BARCC) 5th Annual 5K walk.  BARCC is an incredible organization that I have been volunteering for as a rape crisis counselor since last June.  We are able to offer a 24/7 hotline, free emergency room support, free counseling, and free legal advocacy to rape survivors because of donations from events like these.

As a non-profit who relies on government funding, the recent budget cuts have been detrimental for BARCC.  In an effort to support the community of rape survivors and to increase awareness about sexual assault, I am hoping to raise $500 through this walk-a-thon to help ensure that BARCC can continue offering its free services to our community.  Please help in any way you can - even a couple dollars would be an amazing contribution.  Thank you again!!
