We give financial and emotional support to local Iowa families. All of the money raised is given directly to the Children’s Hospital of Iowa and the Children’s Miracle Network. This year will be Iowa State's 10th Dance Marathon and we are so close to passing $1,000,000 fundraising total!! We have raised over $910,000 these last nine years, and we can break $1,000,000 with your help!Dance Marathon is a 15-hour event held in the Great Hall of the Memorial Union on January 20, 2007 from 9am to midnight. Last year, with the help of 400 dancers, 100 committee members and countless volunteers, Iowa State raised over $145,000 for children at the Children's Hospital of Iowa. Each year this event keeps getting bigger and better, and we expect this year to be no different! We have set our fundraising target at $200,000, which would be the largest sum raised in the history of Iowa State University Dance Marathon.
