Hello Friends!
This September I will be challenging myself to complete a 285-mile bike ride from Boston to New York as part of Braking the Cycle, raising money and awareness to support the amazing and powerful services that Housing Works provides for our community. Housing Works is a network of and for people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS and struggling with homelessness. Your donations go to funding programs that give people a fighting chance against these challenges by providing medical care, support and outreach, housing, treatment and care, job training and the opportunity to heal and recuperate within a community.
This is my first attempt at something like this and my goal is to raise $5000! I'd like to be done by August 15th so that I can concentrate on my training. Quite a challenge! But with your help we can contribute to an organization that offers a helping hand to so many people.
Over the next few months I will be training and challenging myself to achieve my goals. Anything you can give to make this possible is greatly appreciated. Any words of encouragement will also be gladly accepted! And don't forget, awareness and support for the cause is the most important part - so please spread the message, forward this note, and tell all your friends!
Thank you all,
Irina Vinnitskaya
