While our main focus at PPR Healthcare Staffing is to create great employment experiences for our traveling healthcare professionals across the nation, we are also avid supporters of several local and nationwide charities.

PPR is hosting its third Annual Bowl-a-thon to raise money for four charities.  They are the Jacksonville Humane Society, Making Strides against Breast Cancer, the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Daniel Foundation.  The event will take place on October 29, 2010.

The Jacksonville Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of animals.  Their mission is to find loving homes for all animals and to provide education and counseling to foster responsible pet-people relationships resulting in the humane treatment of all animals.

"On April 7, 2007 the Jacksonville Humane Society was virtually destroyed by a devastating fire; out of this tragic event will come great things.  The Jacksonville Humane Society has launched a Capital Campaign to raise essential funding to build a new Adoption and Education Center.  We need to raise approximately 12 million dollars to create a multi-use facility that will serve the needs of our community for decades to come."

The Jacksonville Humane Society is funded by individual donations, wills and bequests, and money received from shelter service. JHS does not receive any state or federal funding nor are they a United Way agency. 

Our goal this year is to raise $500 and we need your help!  A donation of any amount would be greatly appreciated.
