I would like to take a moment to share a little bit of information about our Jackson-man!  Jackson was diagnosed with down syndrome prenatally.  It was definitely a shock to our family.  We spent a lot of time wondering how we were going to care for a child with a disability.  It certainly wasn't in our grand plan.

Any doubts that we had disappeared the minute he was born.  Jackson is truly an amazing little boy.  He surprises us each and every day.  And I cannot imagine things being any other way.  Jackson is the happiest, sweetest baby I have ever met.  Well I am very biased, he is the greatest!!!

While we know things are not always going to be easy for him, and he has certainly already had his share of difficulties, the smile on his face shows us each an every day what really matters.  He reminds me everyday that there is nothing in this world that cannot be accomplished with a good attitude and some hard work.

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support our fundraising efforts.  Your donation will go to support the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Richmond (DSAGR).  DSAGR is a great support system for us and other families of children and adults with down syndrome.  In addition, DSAGR provides funding for enrichment programs for the children.  Your dollars will not be wasted.
