Dear Friends,

Thank you so much for your generous support of the Melrose Alliance Against Violence.  Our 14th Annual Walk and Candlelight Vigil was held on Sunday, October 25th (in gorgeous weather!) and it was a tremendous success!  Together we raised over $27,000 for MAAV's violence prevention programs!

At the vigil we honored the lives of the 21 Massachusetts residents who were killed as a result of domestic violence last year.  As we lit a candle in their honor and spoke their names, we were reminded of why resources for domestic violence victims are critical and why prevention programs are needed to prevent further tragedies from occuring.

It was a huge honor to have your support for this endeavor.  Together, we raised funds and community awareness for an important cause.
