Jell-O Wrestling Extravaganza 2012!!!

Hello all you beautiful would-be contributors!

This year, to the excitement of many, I will be wrestling in the 2012 Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation annual Jell-O Wrestling extravaganza! With my lovely co-wrestler Dori Guest we hope to amaze and stupify the audience with the sheer brilliance that is dunking two twenty somethings in multi-colored solidified sugar water!

With an alter-ego that prides herself on being a home-maker, it has long been my dream to be dipped in a vat of Jell-O for the entertainment of the roving masses; and though I have never learned how to vacuum a house appropriately (see photo) I have learned that if you want something bad enough to work towards that goal (even if that goal is your own public embarrassment at the hands of those you convinced to donate to you).

On a serious note, this organization is one that is near and dear to my heart for all the help and support they have given my HIV positive peers, and their amazing dedication to prevention and harm reduction!

As many of you know, my uncle Jimmy died from complications due to HIV a couple of years ago, and since then I have done my best to raise money to help those who are struggling with their status and those who are seeking services. I have worked to educate my peers on the collegiate level, and I will continue to work towards prevention and outreach as I enter my adult life.

I encourage everyone to help me with my goal of raising $1000, and if I hit that goal, then I will strive for $1500. This means a lot to me, and every little bit helps, if all you can spare is $5, then please, please spare that. Plus, for helping me raise the $1000 you will be providing the Tucson community with not only the benefit of HIV support and prevention; you will also be providing the greater facebook community with photos of me covered in Jell-O for years of hilarity to come.

The 25th Annual Reno Gannon Memorial Jell-O Wrestling Event will take place on Saturday, May 12th 2012 at the Kennedy Fiesta Park in Tucson, AZ. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door! Pre-party starts at 3:00pm, with wrestling at 4:00pm. The event is 21+!
