Hello and thank you for visiting my Team Boomer page.

A close friend of mine recently had a baby boy who was diagnosed with CF.  She has been a wonderful friend over the years (our sons actually share the same name) and helped me train to run my first marathon over 10 years ago (and the subsequent four).  I felt raising money on behalf of Team Boomer was the best way for me to give back to someone who has supported me and so many others over the years.  It is also a chance to help a great organization.  

Hopefully, CF will be a distant memory by the time her son is old enough to run his first marathon.   

I sincerely appreciate any support you can provide and please let others know about my site.
