Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for Junior Achievement of Chicago, DuPage County Division.

DuPage County's goal for the 2009-2010 school year is to reach over 50,000 students in 2,400 classrooms with our relevant economic education programs. We believe as a community, we can start inspiring tomorrow's leaders to make successful choices today.

As a member of the JA Board of Directors, I am passionate about giving our students the tools they need to succeed. I look forward to going into the classroom and teaching the students the things “I wish I would have know before entering the workforce”. The JA program activities that I lead focus on financial literacy, entrepreneurship and workforce readiness. It truly is the highlight of my week!

Unfortunately, the demand for JA is far greater than we are currently able to provide. Each year, an increasing number of educators and parents ask us for our programs. As a result, we have developed a strategic plan that will strive to dramatically increase the number of classrooms reached, but we can't do it without your help.

My goal this year is provide JA for at least 80 students this semester.
