On April 17th, I'll be running 26.2 miles in the Boston Marathon. Even more importantly, through their Patient-Partner Program I am running in honor of a patient at Mass General Hospital. 

You too may know someone who has battled cancer.  Please support the efforts toward finding a cure. I'm not asking you to support me, I'm asking you to support this cause, because running a marathon isn't as challenging as fighting cancer.  As little as five years ago, childhood cancers had a very poor cure rate. Today more than 75% of newly diagnosed childhood cancers are curable, and some of them as high as 90-95%. Your support does matter, and does make an impact!
