I'm organizing and coaching a team of runners to run in the Denver Rock n' Roll Marathon on October 17th.  In 2009 my high school best friend was diagnosed with melanoma.

Lon was diagnosed with stage III-A melanoma in April 2009. It was a shock to everyone because he lives in NYC, rarely sunbaths, and has no family history of melanoma.  

In September of 2009 our team of 17 ran the Boulder Half Marathon and raised over $11,000 for melanoma research.  This year we have a team of 30 and are hoping to raise more than $60,000!!  Please help our team accomplish this lofty but achievable goal!
