Dear Friends and Family,

Thank you for visiting my 2010 Bowl for Kids' Sake page!  I'm currently in my fifth year at BBBS of Athens and I hope to be here for many more.  In 2008 I became the agency's Executive Director.

My time at BBBS has been filled with wonderful relationships with coworkers, partners, Bigs, and Littles.  It's offered me challenging and fulfilling work.  It's a blessing to be doing something for a living that makes me feel so good.

Unfortunately as you all know, times are hard these days and, although our office works on a very small and efficient budget, we were forced to lay off most of our program staff this past summer and are in dire need of immediate funds.  Please consider a making generous donation so that we can continue to to create and support the mentoring relationships that make our organization so valuable. 

 Here's an idea of what your donation will help us do:

• A gift of $25.00 will cover the cost of the professionally facilitated initial match meeting between a Big and a Little.
• A gift of $50.00 allows us to enroll, screen and train one Big.
• A gift of $200.00 pays for a one-day canoe trip with 25 of our Littles.
• A gift of $1000.00 covers the total cost of beginning a new match and supporting it for one full year!
