Let's show San Francisco how we Seattle Wrimos do it!
Hey there! Thanks for visiting my fundraising webpage. As most of you are aware, last year the Seattle region had the top word count worldwide. We are also where the single largest donation ever has come from, thanks to the novelists at Microsoft. I will be representing the Seattle region at the 2007 San Francisco Write-a-Thon with my awesome word-count-generating skills and a sizable donation to the Office of Letters and Light.
The old goal was $200, which was the amount of pledges I needed for a seat at the write-a-thon. I've updated the goal to something a little higher--but I think we can do it, and maybe even more! Remember, the more money pledged to OLL, the more smoothly the servers run, the longer the Young Writer's Program is active, and the more money next year's Script Frenzy and NaNoWriMo have to draw on for swag and shiny web pages. Check to see if your company will match charitable donations to do twice the good!
Thanks so much to the donor who singlehandedly gave enough to make the first goal and then some.
