My name is Jamie Moore/Dowdy. I am 27 years old and have Cerebral Palsy which affects the lower part of my body. When I was born I weighed 1lb & 11oz. and I didn't learn how to walk until I was 4 years old.  I have had two surgeries on my legs to help me walk better. The first one was when I has four, the casts were all the way up my legs with a bar between with my legs spread out. That is how I learned how to walk. My friend Charity taught me how to walk and she went to my thearpy classes with my and my Nanny Darthie at Easter Seals almost everyday. 
 
  I have had horses all my life and still have a paint horse. His name is Billy Ray Scribbles. I have been showing since I was 18 years old.  My trainer Bob Catlin has been for several years now but I still think about him a whole lot. He was verry involved in the "Theraputic Riding Program" while it was in the Rockwall County area.
