As many of you know, our family has struggled in recent years to effectively care for and treat food allergy related eosinophilic disorders and chronic colitis in 2 of our daughters.  One is well controlled now through medications and extensive dietary restrictions.  The other was hospitalized in July and was discharged with an NG feeding tube.  She currently is taking 5 different medications in an effort to control her symptoms She has gained some weight finally but is having ongoing complications and still has a long way to go.  While eosinophilic diseases are still considered rare, food allergies in general have been on the rise dramatically in recent years. Feeding the girls in an allergy safe and healthy manner is a full time job on it's own, as it is with many families working with traditional food allergies. 

We, as a family, will be walking in the 4th annual Food Allergy Expo to benefit Kids With Food Allergies Foundation on September 9th. Please consider donating to help this wonderful foundation in it's effort to support food allergy education and awareness!
