Celebrity Dancer: Jamie Satterfield
Age: 45
Occupation: Journalist specializing in crime and law
What is your dance experience: Years spent as a dance mom in which I served as make-up artist, costume specialist, backstage assistant and diva-minder for my pre-teen dancing diva daughter and a failure at Just Dance on Wii (according to my now-grown daughter and son). As a teenager, I was handy with a hairbrush turned microphone in bedroom concert performances posing as Diana Ross and Tina Turner.
Why are you doing this event: East Tennessee Children's Hospital saved my daughter's life when, as a toddler, she suffered a seizure. I am forever grateful, so much so that I am willing to humiliate myself in front of all those criminals whom I have been humiliating in print for nearly a quarter century.
Why should people vote for you: I am a hard-core crime reporter who knows all kinds of cops who can bust you if you don't vote for me, prosecutors who can jail you if you don't vote for me and lawyers who might just be willing to bail you out if you are busted for not voting for me.
Don't miss STAR 102.1's Dancing with the Knoxville Stars, Thursday, February 16th at the Knoxville Expo Center! Buy your tickets now by calling East Tennessee Children's Hospital at (865) 541-8441 or purchase online at www.etch.com.
