A few years ago I trained to run the Big Sur Half Marathon. An injury in October, a month before the run, prevented me from participating. I decided that this was the year to finish my unfinished business and run Big Sur.

I leapt opportunity to train with Team Ronald McDonald House. RMH provides a home and community for familes of children undergoing treatment and hospitalization at local hospitlas. Theses families' challenges dwarf my little injury three years ago. I'm honored to be supporting this inspiring organization while finally running in Monterey.
